Sahi umar: poore 6 mahine (180 din)

WHO aur Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) dono kehte hain — pehle 6 mahine sirf maa ka doodh, aur poore 6 mahine hone par solid (complementary) food shuru karein. Na 4 mahine, na 5 mahine. Jaldi shuru karne se infection aur allergy ka khatra badhta hai; der se shuru karne par iron ki kami aur weight gain mein rukavat aati hai.

Shuruat kis cheez se karein

Gaadha, mash kiya hua, ek-ek karke khana dein — patla paani jaisa nahi. Consistency naram halwe ya gaadhi kheer jaisi honi chahiye, jo chammach par tik jaaye.

Indian babies ke liye acche first foods:

  • Mash kiya hua kela, chikoo
  • Gaadhi dal (dal ka paani nahi — paani mein nutrition na ke barabar hota hai)
  • Chawal-moong dal ki khichdi, acchi tarah mash karke, ek chammach ghee ke saath
  • Suji ya ragi ka porridge
  • Ubla mash kiya hua aalu, shakarkand, kaddu

Ek baar mein ek hi nayi cheez dein aur 2–3 din ruk kar doosri cheez shuru karein, taaki koi allergy ho toh pata chal jaaye.

Kitna aur kitni baar

  • 6–8 mahine: 2–3 chammach se shuru karein, dheere-dheere aadhi katori (250 ml) tak badhayein — din mein 2–3 meals aur 1–2 chhote snacks
  • 9–12 mahine: Paune ek katori, din mein 3–4 meals aur snacks
  • Saath mein maa ka doodh jaari rakhein, 2 saal tak dena best hai

1 saal se pehle bilkul NAHI

  • Namak aur cheeni nahi — bacche ki kidney aur taste habits abhi ban rahi hoti hain
  • Shahad nahi — infant botulism naam ki gambhir bimari ka khatra
  • Gaay ka doodh main drink ke roop mein nahi — isse iron ki kami hoti hai (khaane mein thodi matra theek hai)
  • Packet wale juice, biscuit, chips bilkul nahi

Sabse zaroori baat

Chhah mahine, gaadhi consistency, ghar ka khana, ek baar mein ek nayi cheez, aur zero namak-cheeni-shahad. Bas yahi poora formula hai. Aapke kitchen mein already woh sab kuch hai jo aapke bacche ko chahiye.
